The government is considering compensation for David Bain. Why? He was found guilty originally of killing his whole family and served 13 years. A later retrial found him not guilty beyond a shadow of doubt.. It did not find him innocent of the crimes!
A retired Canadian judge was brought in to re-consider and review the case, and he has recommended compensation for David Bain. Because of the wide difference between the findings of the two juries, I find it difficult to accept he is "innocent" and taxpayers should fork out up to $2 million dollars in compensation.
If David Bain did not kill his family, and it was nigh on impossible for his father Robin to have committed suicide, was an alien involved?
