Homeless Kiwis have to live under bridges in Sydney...

Homeless Kiwis have to live under bridges in Sydney and other towns and cities in Australia, because those who came to Australia after 2001 are not entitled to assistance, welfare benefits and student loans in Australia. However, Australians living in NZ are entitled to all assistance available to NZ residents.

The spirit of ANZAC continues to burn brightly in NZ, but is fading to just a spark in Australia. Lucky country - lucky for whom?  PM Gillard says her government has absolutely no intention to change the situation. I hope she is a victim of an electoral landslide defeat in the elections in a few months.
